This event will take place in the Staller Center at Stony Brook University. Please join us for one of the most unusual concerts that we have ever produced. Alum and Baroque harpist, Christa Patton, will bring an afternoon of Spanish vocal and instrumental music to our series. This concert will explore newly discovered works from 17th c. Iberia and its diaspora. This rich poetic landscape is illuminated by the music of master composers Juan Hidalgo, Juan de Návas, José Marín, Cristóbal Galán, Santago de Murcia, and Diego Fernadez de Huete. Camila Parias (soprano) and Jason Priset (guitarist) will also be featured in this concert.
